Wawa’s 58th Anniversary
In honor of Wawa’s 58th Anniversary in the convenience retail industry, Wawa launched the “Gift Cards for Care” initiative. A total donation of $1 million in the form of gift cards were donated to eight organizations including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
As one of Wawa’s CMNH partner hospitals, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is thrilled to receive this generous gift card donation. This donation will provide hunger, fuel, and resource relief to our patients and families. Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital takes comfort in knowing the patients and families we care for can count on Wawa to brighten days and provide basic necessities at a time when it’s needed most.
In addition to Wawa’s generous “Gift Cards for Care” initiative, they will also celebrate their 58th retail anniversary on April 14 by offering customers FREE hot coffee of any-size, chainwide, all day long! Throughout the day, Wawa expects to give away more than 2 million free cups of coffee to customers.
