Panda Express Named 2018 Corporate Partner of the Year

Panda Express, the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant chain in the United States, was recently named the 2018 Corporate Partner of the Year by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals).

The Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes an outstanding organization that has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals or Foundations through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives. The award announcement was part of Children’s Hospitals Week, celebrated March 18-24, 2019.

Locally, Panda Express raised $104,655 to help children treated at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital supporting patient care, training future doctors and nurses, and researching better treatments and cures to help futures generations of kids 

Panda Express guests and associates at more than 2,100 locations raised $21.5 million for CMN Hospitals in total in 2018, bringing the total contribution to 131 network hospitals to over $59 million since 2007. Funds are raised during a year-round program that encourages guests to join in supporting the health and education needs of underserved youth.   

The 2018 donation from Panda Express makes the company the fastest growing Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partner – both in percentage of increase and dollar increase in giving year over year.
